Super Anime Remix Vol. 1 ~A New Euro Remix~

The final track list has been revealed, and it’s slightly different than the tentative one posted earlier. If you were a fan of the J-euro songs from the beginning of Natsu Monogatari then you’re sure to love this as well. At 2286 yen for two discs it’s a steal, and certainly much less costly than purchasing the tracks direct from Digital Koubou.

Super Anime Remix Vol. 1 ~A New Euro Remix~

Yet another anime dance compilation. This one comes from Dreamusic (who previously released Carlito’s albums in Japan). Almost all of the tracks were produced by Digital Koubou, who many of you may remember from Natsu Monogatari 2008. In fact, three of the tracks here appeared on Natsu Monogatari 2008.
Disc 1 will be a non-stop mix, while Disc 2 will have full-length versions. Early track list after the jump.
ZIP Dance Nation – ZIP FM 15th Anniversary ~Best Hit Dance~

It’s an Avex release with the word “Best” in the title. You know what that means: NIGHT OF FIRE! Also included are “Caramelldansen” and a bunch of other overexposed songs, though Avex took mercy upon us and didn’t put “Sousei no Aquarion” on. There are also a handful of new tracks, including a DJ Kaya feat. OHC remix, so it’s not a complete waste.

Exit Trance presents TranceMaster 02

Fewer tracks than first announced, but still three more than the first TranceMaster. A lot of familiar classical songs will be covered, as well as a few more obscure ones.

Konami recently announced a default song list for the upcoming DDR game, Dance Dance Revolution X, and there were a few surprises included.

10.) Butterfly (2008 X-edit) – The mega-hit “Butterfly” was released on the original DanceDanceRevolution in Japan. Now, ushering in a new decade of DDR sounds, “Butterfly” has been reworked exclusively for DanceDanceRevolution X! Enjoy it’s familiar, “impossible to resist”, melody, while exploring the fresh new arrangement.
11.) DUB-I-DUB (2008 X-edit) – Making a sensation both on and off the DDR dance-floor, “Dub-I-Dub” has been reworked exclusively for DanceDanceRevolution X! “Dub-I-Dub” was first released in 1995, and was featured in the early DDR machines throughout Japan.
The wording seems intentionally vague, so it’s a bit unclear whether the songs will be actual remixes or merely just edits of the original. It also remains to be seen if any other classic Dancemania songs will receive the “X-edit” treatment.
Exit Trance presents Aerodynamic Best

The main Exit Trance series has been floundering lately. The influx of anime tracks beginning with Exit Trance #05 was bad enough, but the fact that the seventh release didn’t even have a single new song was just unforgivable. The upcoming eighth release in the series promises to have songs from DJ Yoshinori, Cascada, DJ Murauchi, and Kindervater, though it remains to be seen if the songs will actually be new.

Buchiage Parance #8

Style is back! Style is a DJ mix series from EMI that dates back to 1997 and was often cross-promoted with Dancemania in its early days. In the past, Style albums have featured a variety of genres, but have mainly focused on house and techno. The Mademoiselle Yulia album I posted about before will be a part of the series, which was last seen back in 2006. It’s interesting that EMI are reviving the series after being dormant for so long. Hopefully that bodes well for Dancemania making a comeback.

The success of Quake’s Speed Anime Trance series has inspired a lot of other labels to release their own anime dance compilations. This upcoming release comes from an independent label and will feature eurobeat versions of popular (i.e., overused) anime tracks. Saifam released this on iTunes in early June, but I never noticed. ^^; It’s a compilation of all of Jenny Rom’s songs (just the slower dance versions, unfortunately) plus that megamix Saifam produced recently. If you were to buy these tracks from Saifam’s website it would cost you the equivalent of about 22 bucks, but this album is only $11.99. Plus, you get the tracks in 256 kbps instead of Saifam’s 192.
