Second release in the R25 sub-series of the main Speed Anime Trance Best series. My understanding is that the R25 releases focus only on anime songs older than 25 years, whereas the main series deals with more recent songs. Thankfully, that means no “Sousei no Aquarion”!

It’s exactly what you think it is: a boxed set of the four main SATB releases as well as the first R25 release. You’re not really saving any money by buying the box, but you do get exclusive box art, plus a mobile phone screen cleaner and 5 postcards. The set is also extremely limited, likely because few people are crazy/stupid enough to buy it. 😛 Keep in mind that you won’t be getting R25 2, which comes out a month after the box.

Is it wrong that I’m kinda disappointed that the final list is much different than the tentative list? Most of these songs seem to come from anime and are mostly saner than what Quake originally had in mind.
