Saifam are out, but Digital Koubou, makers of the J-Euro tracks on Summer Story 2008, are in! Tracks 1 and 13 also appear on Super Anime Remix. Interesting to see so many companies licensing from Digital Koubou. They seem to be a growing force in the world of eurobeat.
Sadly, mioco is also missing in action. She’s become somewhat of a mainstay in the world of FARM eurobeat, so it’s odd to not see her included. Maybe she’ll appear on Ghibli*Speed, though?

Hime Trance presents Tsukasa Mix

The early track list is out and from the looks of it all of the songs will indeed be by Tsukasa.
There’ll be a number of repeats appearing, and it’s rather disappointing that we’ll be seeing the same old remixes making return appearances when other, better remixes exist. For instance, there are a ton of great remixes of “Prologue,” so why subject us to the same old Spacey vs. garamonn Remix yet again?

I wonder if the rest of the Black Forest catalogue will go up as well? Steve Rhyner did quite a few tracks for Dancemania Speed as well, but so far it seems that only S&K’s tracks are going up.
Party Around the World (iTunes)

Party Around the World is now available on iTunes Plus! The album is also available digitally on Limewire and LaLa. Unfortunately, it seems that the album is only available in the US at the moment, so those outside the US may have to wait for the physical release on October 28.
VIP Mega Euro Star ~Hybrid~

It’s baaack! FARM’s VIP Mega Euro Star series was last seen in 2006, while the last Love Para release was back in November of 2007. It’s a bit of surprise, then, to see FARM return to the eurobeat fray after so long an absence.

…and it’s largely disappointing when it comes to the licenses. The 2008 X-edits are indeed just edits of the originals, generally using the second verses in place of the first verses. I’m told that they play well, but new remixes would’ve been much better.
As far as I know the only other revival not mentioned so far is Smile.dk’s “Boys.” No Captain Jack O_O
Anime*Dance presents Ghibli*Speed

A themed Speed release? Who do FARM think they are, EMI? As the title implies, Ghibli*Speed will feature Studio Ghibli anime theme songs redone at ridiculously high BPMs. The first Anime*Dance features tracks from Saifam, so I’d expect them to contribute again.

Party Around the World

Amazon now lists the release date as October 28. According to the official site, there was a problem with manufacturing and it’ll take a few weeks to sort out. It’s not like CDs are manufactured on the day of release, though, so I’m wondering why we’re only finding out about this problem now.
In any case, the Smile.dk team was gracious enough to put up a free download of “Doki Doki” to make up for the delay:

I previously posted the track list here, but the artists have since been revealed. It turns out that most, if not all, of this compilation is produced by Ventura Music (and yes, Kei is the same Kei from Hime Trance and Buchiage Trance). It’s been a while since we’ve heard Ventura produce pure eurobeat, with most of their recent efforts being speed-style songs. Unfortunately, no one seems to be offering samples, so I don’t know if this compilation is actually any good.
