Exit Trance presents Speed Anime Trance Best The Movie
Release Date: 6/3/09
Price: 1905 yen

Yes, this was one of the real titles I alluded to on April Fools’ Day. It’s yet another SATB sub-series, this time focusing on anime movie themes. The strange thing is a couple of the tracks on the early list have already been featured in previous SATB releases. Hopefully they’re new remixes/covers instead of just plain repeats.

Glamorous House 4Glamorous House 4th Floor
Release Date: 4/15/09
Price: 2400 yen

I’m not exactly sure why the Glamorous House releases tend to cost 400 yen more than most Exit Trance albums. Perhaps it’s because they’re released in digipaks rather than normal CD cases, but I always thought that digipaks were cheaper.

Anyway, the fourth release in the Glamorous House series has house remixes of familiar Handz Up tracks. I’m sure the world didn’t need to hear “Everytime We Touch” again.

TranceMaster 03Exit Trance presents TranceMaster 03
Release Date: 4/15/09
Price: 1905 yen

Update! As mentioned in the comments, it appears that TranceMaster 03 features only original songs, and not trance covers of classical pieces. I’m slightly disappointed, but at the same time rather relieved that we’ll finally get to hear original songs instead of covers.

TranceMaster is a series of trance albums featuring covers of classical masterpieces. You know, masterpieces such as “Funk You!” and “Crush on this groove.” In all seriousness, I’m as confused as you are. Presumably these will still be covers of classical tracks, except with random new titles, similar to the Delaction tracks from the first two albums. “Forever” did appear previously on N.O.-SYO’s Cyber Drift 2 album, though I can’t remember if it was indeed a cover.

The original trance masters are mostly accounted for. DJ Kaya, Overhead Champion, DJ Uto, Delaction, and DJ Yoshinori return, but Remo-Con seems to be conspicuously absent. Meanwhile, a lot of Quake’s artists will be making their TranceMaster debuts. Starving Trancer (with Mayumi Morinaga, no less), MK, B.U.S., and others will be taking a break from their usual anime duties to participate in TranceMaster for the first time.

Exit Tunes presents Sagyouyou BGM Electro House 2
Release Date: 5/20/09
Price: 1905 yen

I’m surprised to see a sequel to Sagyouyou BGM Electro House so soon. Again, “sagyouyou” translates to “working,” so this is supposed to be music you listen to in the background while you’re working. It does seem like an unnecessarily long title, though.

Disko Warp Meets Sakuma Hitomi & J-GirlsDisko Warp Meets Sakuma Hitomi & J-Girls
Release Date: 5/27/09

West meets East in this upcoming collaboration between Disko Warp and Musicrush. Disko Warp, of course, are famous for penning Smile.dk’s “Doki Doki” as well as for producing their own distinct brand of happy hardcore and eurobeat. Musicrush have delivered music to some of Japan’s top labels, including Universal, Victor, and FARM.

Disko Warp Meets Sakuma Hitomi & J-Girls will feature new Disko Warp remixes of Musicrush’s biggest hits, including Sakuma Hitomi’s “Change My World.” Also included will be a remix of Eryko’s “Ready for Love,” which previously appeared on FARM’s VIP Mega Euro Star series.

The album will be available on various digital download services in late May.
For more info, visit the official Disko Warp website or the Disko Warp MySpace.

Exit Trance presents CM Covers 3
Release Date: 5/20/09
Price: 1905 yen

Interesting. Previous releases in the series were titled “CM Trance,” but Quake have switched it to “CM Covers” for the third release. I hope that doesn’t mean they’re shying away from trance.

Exit Tunes presents Stardom
Release Date: 5/20/09

A compilation of Doujin songs?! Is this really what Quake have resorted to? The UmaUma Trance series had new trance covers of famous Nico Nico songs, but this CD will have the original songs by the original artists.

And can someone please explain why “Caramelldansen” has to be on this?
