Aww, bittersweet news from the Disko Warp scene. After 8 years, it seems that Pete is feeling burnt out and will be taking a break from Disko Warp for the foreseeable future. More details on his decision can be found in a series of Tumblr posts:
A Heart to Heart
Clarification
In the meantime, Pete is making the entire Disko Warp back catalog (sans licensed covers) available for FREE on SoundCloud. Best of luck, Pete! Hopefully one day you can come back feeling refreshed and ready to make more great music!

I didn’t think he was that overworked looking at how many releases the label has had.
Unless it’s because he was trying to travel to nearly ever event he could find in the US.

I think the deciding factor was probably monetary. It costs money to put songs up on iTunes, and he just wasn’t seeing enough sales to justify it anymore. Also, I think he took a hit with international shipping on one of his recent Kickstarters. I’ve seen other Kickstarters ask donors to donate more to cover increased shipping costs, but Pete was cool enough to just absorb the costs himself.

I thought he didn’t do international shipping. Or was that only for Anime Love Hardcore?

Just the anime albums, because of licensing restrictions.
