Anime House Project ~Oshare Selection~ Vol. 1

This is the fifth announced CD in the Anime House series (though it’ll actually be the third one released). This particular release will be produced by Somatrope. “Oshare” means “stylish” or “fashionable.” I haven’t a clue what that has to do with the anime themes announced so far. Interestingly, there are quite a few tracks with English lyrics, including “Genesis of Aquarion.”

House Nation -Diamond-

Price: 2427 yen (Limited Edition and Regular Edition)
I’m assuming this will be part of the main series and not another offshoot release. The first-press limited edition will come housed in a digipak case and will include a discount ticket for entry at a House Nation part. The regular edition has neither. Both versions will be the same price, however, so you might as well get the limited edition.

Avex’s latest House Nation release will focus on “platinum” hits from well-known international artists. The announced tracks are a little on the old side, though. Hopefully the final list will have some more current stuff.
Anime House Project ~Sengoku Bakumatsu Mix~

“Sengoku” and “Bakumatsu” refer to periods of feudal Japan, so this CD will feature themes from anime shows and games that take place during that time. The release promises to fuse house sounds with traditional Japanese instruments, including my favorite, the shamisen. It’s being released for the low price of 1600 yen, but keep in mind that there’ll only be 8 tracks. First press copies also come with a sticker featuring the cover art.
A shame there are no tracks from Sengoku Musou. 🙁

It’s been delayed a few times, but Love House Extra is finally coming out on September 16. The final list includes tracks from Kylie Minogue, Bentley Jones, Katy Perry, Spankox (better known to Dancemania fans as X-Treme), and Coldplay.
House Addict ~J-Pop Covers~

Each of the songs featured on House Addict has already been covered at one point or another in the Exit Trance series, which made romanizing the tracks super easy for once. 😉 None of the artists are familiar to me, and I can’t seem to find any info on them. It’s possible that they’re Western artists, but they could also just be aliases for the usual Exit Trance musicians.

The first release isn’t even out yet, but Media Factory already have a sequel in the works. Once again, IOSYS will be producing this release. I’ll be very interested in hearing how “Tsuki no Mayu” turns out. For K-On! fans, yes, they’ll be doing “Cagayake! Girls.”

So, how long before Quake produce Exit Trance presents Speed Anime Trance Best Shounen?

It’s not exactly Speed Anime House Best, but it’s pretty close. Anime House Project is a new series by Media Factory, who are already well known for publishing anime. IOSYS will be producing this release, and it looks like most of the artists are doujin groups. And yes, it has “Sousei no Aquarion” and “Zankoku na Tenshi no These.” It also has “Don’t say lazy,” which is bound to be this year’s most overused track.
There’s a promotional video up on Nico:
“Don’t say ‘lazy'” sounds pretty good, but the other arranges sound like stuff from Techno Pop Anime. Not that that’s a bad thing, mind you.
