Exit Tunes presents Otome Piano de Utatte Mita ~Dai 1 Gakushou~
Release Date: 7/7/10
Price: 1905 yen
OMG, it’s a Starving Trancer album! Two popular Utatte Mita artists, Rumdarjun and Kettaro, guest star on the album along with Exit Trance mainstays including hideki and Maki. Only 12 tracks and around 46 minutes in total, but it’s Starving Trancer! Dunno if it’s a non-stop mix or if the tracks are full versions.

Piano Dance Best
Artist: The Standard Club
Release Date: 5/19/10
Price: 2400 yen
The Standard Club have apparently changed labels, as this best-of release comes to you courtesy of Sony Records. New songs include a cover of Mariah Carey’s “Hero” and Sarah Brightman’s “Time to Say Goodbye.”
Piano Dance Christmas
Artist: The Standard Club
Release Date: 11/24/09
Price: 600 yen
Piano Dance Christmas came out late last month on iTunes, but I thought it’d be more appropriate to post about it closer to Christmas. It’s more of a mini-album, actually, and it includes one repeat (the inexplicably ubiquitous “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence”).
Cinema Kumikyoku performed by Piano Master
Release Date: 8/12/09
Price: 2362 yen
The title translates to “Cinema Suite.” Contrary to my previous post, Piano Master will be doing the entire album himself. There are some nice samples up on FARM’s website: http://www.farm-records.com/house/house_farm188.html
Cinema Kumikyoku compiled by Piano Master
Release Date: 8/12/09
Price: 2362 yen
The title translates to “Cinema Suite,” and you can probably guess what the theme of the album will be. There are lots of old standbys, including “Miss a Thing” and “Neverending Story.” There are also some selections from Japanese movies, however. At first I thought Piano Master would be handling the entire album solo, but the cover clearly states that it’s only “compiled” by him. If so, I’m guessing “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence” will be the Standard Club version.
Girls Night Out ~Piano Story~ compiled by Piano Master
Release Date: 7/15/09
Price: 2362 yen
The “sui-ren” remix turns out to be the Sunset in Ibiza mix, which is a tad disappointing. I would’ve loved to hear the orchestral version. FARM haven’t listed artists on the official page, but they do have samples up.
Girls Night Out ~Piano Story~ compiled by Piano Master
Release Date: 7/1/09
Price: 2362 yen
Girls Night Out is the name of a series parties held in Japan targeted at women. Apparently they mostly play house music, as evidenced by the recent tie-up compilation, Girls Night Out ~Spice Up Your Life!~. “Piano Story” is a sub-release in the new Girls Night Out series, this time focusing on piano house songs compiled by Piano Master. The album will include songs from many hit piano dance acts, including Dance Music Company and The Standard Club. It’ll even include the elusive piano version of kagura’s “sui-ren.”
